IRINA PANTAEVA BIO’s
Irina Pantaeva, the first Asian to become one of the original group of supermodel
celebrities, is also known as an actress, a published author, a filmmaker, and a devout
student of His Holiness The Dalai Lama. A stunning exotic beauty, she is graceful,
compassionate, caring, intelligent and very talented. Born into a family of artists,
shamans and Buddhist monks on the banks of the Sacred Lake Baikal in Siberia,
Russia, Irina inherited a love for the arts and a fascination for the forces of Nature. Irina
is a person of great integrity who presently combines her experience and studies in
fashion with environmental issues to create new ideas and develop unique projects.
She is passionately involved in protecting and preserving indigenous cultures, traditions,

of encounters. Though technically autobiography, Siberian Dream reads more like an

The “PEACE AMBASSADOR” title, received by Irina in the Miss World University
contest in 1990, was a start on her future path as she went on to became a connecting
link in many projects.
In 1998, Irina launched a JEWELRY COLLECTION " Irina's universe ", “Inspired by
the folklore and traditions of Siberia, she designated four fundamental concepts for her
first collection: Lotus, which represents an opening into the world as well as an
enclosing of the center of one’s being (the heart); Dragon, the guardian of cosmic
wisdom and the preserver of positive energy; the Four Elements of Earth, Water, Fire,
and Air; and Snowflakes and Icicles, which are reminiscent of her Siberian childhood.”
Irina helped the publishing and presentation of the TIBETAN MEDICINE book in NYC a
project that involved a diverse team including the History Museum of Buryatia. In
2004, she arranged the first US exhibition of a worldwide recognised Buryat sculptor
DASHI NAMDAKOV, whose works are inspired by Buddhist and shamanic mythology.
Irina participates in the UNITED NATIONS PERMANENT FORUM ON INDIGENOUS
ISSUES (UNPFII), working with Dene, Navaho, Hopi, Mohack American Indian tribes
since 2004. She lead Buryat, Mongolian and Kalmik Buddhist communities during the
LONG LIFE PUDJA CEREMONY in Dharmsala, India,in 2008. Irina performed a
special HEALING WATER CEREMONY on Lake Baikal with Dr. Masaru Emoto, Dr.
Konstantin Korotkov, and other international scientists. Irina is synergizing with Institute
of Ecotechnics organization, founded by the legendary creator of Biosphere 2 and
sailing ship " Heraclitus," John Allen ( Me and the Biospheres publication).
Irina takes part and supports the RED DRESS COLLECTION Annual Fashion Show for
women and heart disease awareness since 2005.
In 2012, a retrospective exhibition of Irina’s achievement, PURE FLOW H2O, held at
the National museum of Buryatia, together with a performance at the Buryat National
Drama Theatre, creatively introduced Irina’s passion to preserve Water on the planet. "

Irina actively participated in the PEOPLE’S CLIMATE MARCH 2014 in NYC, along with
Bill McKibben and 350.org, antifracking
organizations, Vivienne Westwood’s Climate
Revolution initiative (nearly 500,000 people marched in NYC).
In December 2014, Irina went to Ulanbaatar, Mongolia, to participate in the annual
Mongolian Fashion Festival Goyol 2015 and take first steps towards future
collaborations and initiate reunification amongst all Mongolian tribes. There she
received a special OUTSTANDING CULTURAL ACTIVIST Award of Mongolia.
